You negatigers need to find another team to follow.

So this means you pumpers are out of excuses for next season, eh? What will your reaction be if we have another 3-4 loss season with a minor bowl?

Be specific.

When is the last time they blew us out at home? 2006? No 2008? No 2010? No 2012? No 2014? No Pretty sure the last time Bama blew us out at home Saban was coaching LSU

Amazing how we found a way to choke those games in 2012 and 2014. The 2014 ending was really something to behold.

I wrote a lengthy missive after that game conceding that Alabama had stripped us of our championship caliber status and arguing that "though we'd occasionally beat Alabama, we wouldn't do so when it mattered or on a regular basis."

I'm now convinced that we won't beat Alabama as long as Saban is the HC. There are historical losing streaks one hell of a lot longer than six years, so don't think we're up against some wall.

what will yours be if we don't? i would assume you'd disappear for awhile like you do after every LSU win

It's defeatist to acknowledge reality? The fact of the matter is that Alabama is a stronger program than LSU is from top to bottom at this particular point in history. Maybe much stronger. And while weaker programs do beat stronger programs, Saban doesn't seem all that inclined to cede his token annual loss to LSU.

Sorry.

Fair enough, this will be his second season as the starter. So we'll see.

I quickly looked over the schedule and LSU should at least win 8 games. The toss up games are (UF,OM,UA,ARK).

i just find odd that a supposed LSU fan would never post after an LSU win....that's all.

Agree completely, too much talent and depth not to.

How dare you come on the Rant with your sunshine pumping when Bama just won the national championship last night. Don't you realize we are mediocre no matter where we play and no matter who we have. Education and character building be damned, if we can't consistently beat the best coach in the history of college football what is the point.

Until our offensive philosophy catches up with the rest of CFB. I don't see how anyone can think that LSU will make the Playoff.

Yeah, having one of the top coaches in college football is going to be our downfall

I agree, this is where we are matching Bsma, talent on hand and mature players. We are building that great depth, that is where we will win a championship in the next two years.

All the rest will solve itself when you are better, older, stronger, and deeper than your opponent

maybe its because i was there, or maybe its because you are shut the fck out , you go numb,

but that 2014 game hurt worse than 2011 BCSNCG. it felt like if LSU couldn't win with the game tied and the ball at 1st and goal from the 6, with less than 2 minutes to go, then LSU will never win until either Sabear or Miles leaves.

but Re: OP, can we get a list of the 18 returning starters?

Just look at the starters who are leaving due to graduation and leaving early. We lose 2 on both sides of the ball.
Look at #7 on the list in the link

Errrr ... The players come and go but the coach remains the same. The raw material may be present for tremendous success. The discipline and engineering are lacking though. Not negative, just honest.

Let's not keep our expectations low and maybe we be great. Do you think Bama ever goes into a season with low expectations? Having low expectations is a sad way to go through life.

I agree with you about this...

Until you left a very important point out...
