Yea, use the highest scores to determine everything up to this point & then do some random draw? Dumb.
How they determine individual titles is also dumb. That needs to be changed.

I follow gymnastics some, but not well enough to understand why the championship meet is on a podium when the entire season isn't. So can someone explain this to me?

They certainly have a great shot and are the slight favorites, but Cal, Utah and Florida are all great teams as well. Any of the teams in the Finals is capable of winning it all without help from the others. It’s going to be a real battle.
