The Brennan/Daniels battle sounds like it’s heating up.

2nd group O-line Brian Balestra???

Didn't see anything about him transferring in.

Nice!

41… Brian Kelly talked about Nussmeier’s game, saying his makeup is that of an elite quarterback and he has the arm talent to make any throw. It’s been his technical growth that has been most impressive to Kelly this spring. He always has confidence and now he’s adding the technical element to his game.

I love that. I really want to keep Nuss here. I hope all 4 stay.

"The players are used to going all out"

I couldn't tell by how horrid the tackling was. I would've thought Orgeron never allowed tackling in practice.

Brune is a young guy but he’s definitely putting in the work.

"Kelly and Mike Denbrock were both unhappy with the offensive line early on in the offense vs. defense portion."

There is not enough talent there across the board there yet and I'm not convinced that Davis is the OL Guru that will make much of a difference.

Kelly mentioned Noah Cain coming in from Penn State over the summer to add even more depth to the running back room. Says every back brings something different and he doesn’t expect one back to go from first through third down very often. Raved about Goodwin’s day today and his long run.

Ugh. Would rather have a back take the lead and play for a whole series.

Nuss can go. All three others I’d love to keep.

24… If you’re looking for someone who could go from sleeper to all-conference, Zavier Carter is someone to keep in mind. He is going to benefit from the Jack position in House’s defense, going from someone without a position to a potential difference-maker in two years.
Can't wait to see what House can do with ZC!
