I won't go into specifics but i just spoke with someone who was within "10 feet" of the altercation and he said a guy was yelling at a lady Jefferson was with..Jefferson pretty much tells him to GTFO and guy comes at JJ, shite talking ensues and he swings at Jefferson, he stressed the fact that Jefferson didn't throw first blows. Also said Ryan Baker was involved in a scuffle with one of the guys friends..

Was this inside the bar or in the parking lot?

Also, what about the story that a guy was in his truck and tried to get the players to move out of his way so he drive out of the parking lot?

How many players are you hoping get suspended? You sound personally invested in player suspensions.

None, but that doesn't stop me from stating the obvious...

But surely you can't think this will just pass....No way! Too much riding on personal conduct and coaches reps, college reps etc.

Someone will miss playing timfe for this, the question becomes "How do we fix this with minimal losses of players for a game or 2?"

All I'm personally invested in is LSU sports, more than you want to know....I'm pissed that an entire group of players weren't smart enough as a group to GET THE frick AWAY from this occurance.

I'm not reading 70pages to find out everything.
Who was all really involved.
Plus, i would hate to b those guys if someone gets suspended. Be known as the guys that could scrw the hold season, for being idiots.

If any players get arrested, the friends of the drunks that started the fight with players should get arrested too. For being the sh*t out of the guys that f**ked the whole season up.

With Jefferson potentially out I figure the odds swing towards LSU being the favorite

Well, Vegas just pulled the game off the board and I'll bet you it was NOT because there a flood of money coming in on the LSU side.

If you want to be a "has been" immediately upon completion of your eligibility, then fine...go drink up and show up for practice hung over.

If you want to be a great one, you take care of your business and don't put yourself into situations that a) don't help you become elite (being at bars at 2am isn't one of those situations) and b) you get some rest and come to practice as physically and mentally prepared as you can

THEY HAVE THE DAY OFF FROM PRACTICE!! Of course the players were going to go out and blow off some steam. This is ridiculous.

Clearly, JJ has already resigned himself to being an also-ran once his eligibility ends.

so you're saying no good college players who care about their fball futures go out at night. gotcha.....that is the most asinine thing i've ever heard. btw, i don't think they had practice today, so how does that hungover at practice theory sound to you now?

They don't have practice today right? Some players went out. What the hell do you want them to do?

Doesn't seem like too much to ask for your senior starting QB to not be in places where there's a good possibility for drunken violence.

There are literally 1000s of LSU students who weren't at the bar last night, but JJ needed to be?

That's not leadership. I'm not judging his actions from a moral or big-picture life standpoint. From the standpoint of him being the starting QB for LSU right now, being there is a poor choice.

Every national champion in NCAA history has had prominent starters at bars around 2AM about two weeks before the season.

You are a miserable frick, face it.

so now you're claiming no player has ever gone pro and spent time in bars while in college

hey it was relevant, man! guy was trying to say that the alleged victim must not been hurt much if he didn't ride in the ambulance.... well, and then I and others just proceeded to rip him a new one, which I admit was fun.

You are a fricking idiot bro. What do you think about Patrick Peterson showing up at bars at 2am?

You should probably be banned to prevent your stupidity from spreading.
