I love how this site has about 15 race based threads a day on the OT with all kinds of snide racial comments but I say "drunk blacks" and you all implode with me being some blind biggot whos story cant be taken seriously since its obviously race driven

I would bet that every single CFB team in the nation had starters at a bar last night. Don't be dumb.

If they want to be great, they have to be serious about what they are doing, and that doesn't include dragging in after all night bar hopping for morning workouts.

It's been stated multiple times, they're off tomorrow, jackass.

i'll bet you 1000 bucks players from every college in the country go out to the bars at night. guaran-fricking-tee you. you may think they have greater responsibility, but they're 20-21 year old kids for christs sake. no, it's not clear they're not serious about why they're at lsu. it's very clear why they're at lsu, to have a college experience. they're not field slaves who just play football for our enjoyment. they have lives too.

Do you realize at some point they need a break from football practice?

They don't have practice today right? Some players went out. What the hell do you want them to do?

Things like going out can actually be a good thing at times for teams, its builds bonds, etc.

Years ago a friend at LSU was in a Frat that hated football players and talked trash whenever they showed up at a bar that they claimed. The Long Branch, I believe it was.The older frats would get the freshman to piss off the players ending in the usual arse whipping.
My Freind quit BTW. He liked football and didn't like arse whippings.

You clearly can't fathom the sacrifices that it takes to be at the top of your game.

If you want to be a "has been" immediately upon completion of your eligibility, then fine...go drink up and show up for practice hung over.

If you want to be a great one, you take care of your business and don't put yourself into situations that a) don't help you become elite (being at bars at 2am isn't one of those situations) and b) you get some rest and come to practice as physically and mentally prepared as you can.

Clearly, JJ has already resigned himself to being an also-ran once his eligibility ends.
