no way Magee starts.
Hines would start over him easily

I think Racy McMath should stay at TE. With his skill set he could totally wreck defenses from the TE position

Love it. Gotta say that I think Kardell is going to be a starter at some point and the receivers should be: Jefferson, chase, marshall, and 4th spot would be Sullivan or Anderson.

I think you are vastly underestimating many on the offensive unit. I could see 3-4 linemen, 2-3 receivers, 2 running backs and quite possibly JB.

Very likely Burrow plays some in the NFL. Our top 3 receivers are in. None of our running backs, besides the freshmen, will get more than a cup of coffee. Our center cannot handle Bama; he damn sure isn’t handling the NFL. Saahdiq might hang onto a roster for a while. No one else who has played a lot.

I have high hopes for Hines, and the freshmen can’t be judged yet. This is very different from the picture on defense.

Cole Smith is not on the team anymore

He has not transferred yet; he merely entered his name into the transfer portal. He can withdraw his name—like 2 other Tigers have—if he so desires.

The speculation is that he would like to transfer to Mississippi State, the other SEC school that recruited him.

We look pretty light on the OL.

They need to stay 100% healthy, that's for sure.

It's pretty tough to peg exactly where McMath will play on the field. I think he may be the type of guy to be a Taysom Hill-like TE/slot guy that can essentially be a swiss army knife big guy. He's one of the fastest guys on the team - I hope he can do something with that this year

It’s amazing the difference between our defensive and offensive depth charts. Our defense has NFL players at every position and some on the bench. Our offense has four or five NFL players and the rest could be at Kentucky.

While I agree with you that the defense is much stronger, that has always been the case at LSU. We are pretty much been led by the defense for the last 20+ years.

This is the best looking offensive depth chart LSU has had since 2013 (minus having Leonard Fournette).

You may be right. I decided to put him at Split End because that’s what he was playing during the Spring game.

Pretty sure that's an illegal formation.

Also. Does anyone think that if deculaus struggles that either Ingram or Magee can relieve him at RT?

While the memory of Deculus letting guys run right by him are fresh, Magee looked just as bad at RT last season.

Think of it this way: if Magee were even equally serviceable at RT last year, don’t you think they would have rotated a bit more?

The fact that Magee was benched and Deculus continued to play despite poor results tells me the Magee probably won’t play tackle in 2019.

Our OL is going to smoke people this year. I can’t wait to see it so I can say once again, the people who think they know how to evaluate talent on this site, actually have no clue.

There were so many things working against them last year they couldn’t build the continuity as a team and that can kill the confidence as a whole. Moving the football and having success can also boost the OL which we just haven’t had much of lately. It all works together and last year it was all a work in progress. This year is much different and should make tons of progress. Add Burrow in his 2nd year and Brady’s offense to the mix and it has the potential to be explosive and fun to watch. Just dominating people. I can’t wait.
