Here is my prediction of what the Defensive Depth Chart will look like.

Key:
• The two purple positions may come off the field depending on the formation.
• The small purple boxes indicate 247Sports Composite ratings.
• The two clipboard icons indicate early enrollees.
• The one Longhorn icon indicates a transfer from TX.
• No icon is shown for players in the transfer portal.

See also the thread and image for the Offensive Depth Chart.

Other Depth Charts for Comparison:
• Brooks Kubena at The Advocate (March 12, 2019)
• Brody Miller at NOLA.com (April 10, 2019)
• Sonny Ship at Geaux247 (May 30, 2019)
• Billy Gomila at ATVS (June 7, 2019)
• Scott Long at Dandy Don (June 23, 2019)

Just to note, Mike Williams cant play this year, he has to sit out, he's also not on scholarship.

Personally I think Todd Harris starts at FS and Stevens is the starting F. That's just me though. Could be completely wrong.

You're right. I just thought I would include him because I found it interesting that he was ranked higher than the guy we signed.

He withdrew his name from the transfer portal.

I have Stevens as basically his own position on my depth chart, grouped with "F" linebackers but as hybrid FOLB/S. He's basically just a very versatile guy they are going to keep on the field a lot.

You may very well be correct.
From what I've read, they want to use him near the LOS, but I don't think they technically move him to the F spot. They seem to use a form of Dime package to do that. It has been said that he's too good to take off the field.

Yep I agree with this.

He's going to be a stud this year and all over the field.

He's got the frame to be CJ Moseley at the next level too.

Marcel Brooks might be able to follow in his footsteps.

Looks like they refer to this position as the " Quarter."

Great job, Scotty! Excellent graphic, and I have no major disagreements. That defense looks awesome. he dline depth is championship worthy. Two ingredients necessary to contend: One stud dlineman (Lawrence?) and can the QB put the offense in the end zone against top competition?

Players with the ability to impact the game at every level - DL, LB, and DB. Depth to make situational substitutions to win the match-ups vs the OFF, and keep guys fresh. No matter how you slice & dice it, a good looking depth chart. Stay healthy, impose our will on the opposition, and win.
