Just hang around here for awhile and see for yourself. Some of these folks can't even get along together. You would think LSU was 0-5. Bashing college kids for dropping a TD pass (where a DB made good play) in a game, that the TIGERS won, shows NO class. But thats the norm around here. My daughter wants to see the Tigers play in person, but I will have to carry her to a road game, NO WAY I'm carring her to TS. Sad that some people act this way, but Tiger fans aren't the only ones. All fans bases have that group. Sorry to hear about your bad experince, some of us are here to enjoy our team and not trash their opponent. Sorry for my first RANT.
Good Lord! man! I sure must be missing out because I've been bringing my son all his life and we've NEVER seen ANYTHING like all the alleged shite going on.
Hell, I've been going almost continuously since about 1963 and have never seen ANYTHING, not even a FIGHT, between an LSU fan and an opposing teams fan - except for the time I threatened to whip a Toolame fans arse after the 1982 game.

Yeah I guess I'd rather the kids see that brawl from 04.
Look, you're really trying to make something out of nothing. I was calmly talking to SC fan and dick heads were saying shite like, "duh Tebow called for you" or making corndog comments. Then the constant gator chomping. Come Nancy tell me how nice Clemson and USCe are please.
The people next to me were nice and I'm sure they'd say the same about me. There was a 60 yr old lady a little ways away yelling shite at us like "we're killing you" and shite like that. Completely unprovoked. Of couse she kept her trap shut in the second half.
so here's a big glass of STFU for you

The stripper pole comment threw up a flag on this guy.
Pimps had the pole at the LSU Alumni tailgate. Yes, that's right, we had a great time hanging with the Alumni party. Wish all the haters came to see that. Will post a video later...

I know the guy... a couple of times during the game he bought a dozen or so hot dogs and threw them to the tiger faithful "mardi gras" style.... sorry if your fanbase can't have fun... i can't believe the cops threw him out of the game for that as the USC student section was being thrown tshirts from a potato gun

uhhh like the USC shirts I saw that said "I 'heart' cocks"?

Insert any SEC name in here. Well, except for the Striper pole..that is classic.
Idiots are everywhere. The crew I travel with are respectful... walk softly and carry a BIG stick is our motto.

Clem'
Typically, 'Travelin' Tigers are louder and more outrageous because we're outnumbered, and we want our team to know we're there. Some young Tigahs with a snootful tend to let go more easily on the road. But that's not unique to LSU. However, there's no excuse for really rough language/behavior around another team's women. But as one of those who has followed the Tigers for years, we do tend to yell louder and drink more when were less certain about the game's outcome. Many of us knew going into this year without a top quarterback it was probably going to be a transitional year. Hence, we turn up the volume. If we offended your lady, we apologize. If we offended you, face it: You wouldn't feel so outraged if you won.

I believe RP got more than 3 chances didnt he?
In comparison to Garcia, what RP did seems fairly mild. He vandalized his professor's car. He shouldn't have been allowed back on campus.

I was near the fans with the cheers and they are regualrly used on the road. Examples:
6 plus 6 equals a dozen. You had sex with your underaged cousin.
Rip Rip Rip, Rap Rap Rap, Carolina women have the (clap, clap, clap)
Just a bunch of fun stuff. It was one obnoxious SC fan that kept getting all of the students attention and doing the gator chomp and making his fingers say 51. Got under their skin.

We sit directly in front of the visiting section in Tiger Stadium in the east upper deck. I can promise you that many of the visiting fans from the big SEC schools that sit around us come in looking for trouble. Profanity, taunting, gestures, etc are the norm from the VISITORS in our section in TS. Usually, LSU fans just look at them like their retarded and come back with clever comments. And after LSU beats them they shut up and start complaining about LSU fans doing exactly what they came in doing. FACT!

Before you reply....Understand that this post is fabricated...I sat in the same area...
Most of what this guy is referencing is due to reaction of LSU fans being taunted by one USC fan....
Also, the throwing hot dogs was done innocently by a BR restaurant owner. He was throwing them to the LSU fans.....I saw the USC mascot throwing shirts all game. What's the difference?
Every fan base in every country, no matter what sport has some bad fans. Usually the better the team the more passion and arrogance you will find.
Also, I stayed in a Hotel where there was another Clemson fan who thanked us for beating USC and said he loved our fan base and could not have met nicer people......

In general LSU fans are no worse then most SEC fans...however when I was at theLSU vs. Florida game there was one asshat LSU fan that came in drunk off his arse and at just about every opportunity tried to taunt and pick fights with Florida (mainly students) fans...yelled obsenities and was just a general frick tard..if that guy comes to this board..and he was one of a group that took a limo from the panhandle to the game...you are an a-hole...and an LSU fan just called you that..you are what makes other LSU fans look bad...

Wow, if those are the worst acts you have ever witnessed, I must conclude that you are either (a) Amish; or (b) a pussy.

As I sat in the student section I witnessed most of this actually happen, and the only things i regret are not catching a hotdog, and not bringing enough whiskey into the game. Maybe if i did i could have got in on the "underage cousin" chant

Hard to answer that question when you don't say what the behavior was.

-Verbal antognizing from 2 LSU fans of 3 separate groups of USC fans, trying to start another physical altercation <-- cool
-When LSU scores or makes a big play, dancing in the center isle or soliciting high 5's from young USC fans <--cool. Jeez, get a sense of humor
-Drinking in the stands (they were thrown out of the staduim) <--an absolute must

-LSU Tailgating parties that have a stripper pole <---uhhhh, cool

This is the SEC if your not used to it, then you dont go to a school in the SEC. This happens all the time and every different stadium. Oh and I would like you to find a college student that doesnt have a sexually suggestive t shirt
