I think Miles has earned the right to have at least two bad seasons.

BTW - Could someone remind me how we define a "bad season"?

losing SEC record probably qualifies...last year was bad.

Sounds eminently reasonable.

Miles has to win two of these six games:

Oct 03 Georgia
Oct 10 Florida
Oct 24 Auburn
Nov 07 Alabama
Nov 21 Ole Miss
Nov 28 Arkansas

Edited because I can't count.

And I agree with this. The internet minority is disproportionately loud.

From being in Tallahassee now for two months, I can tell you that there are many fans here of their school that would just love to be in our 'dire' situation right now....

A four and four record in the SEC is hardly laudable, expecially when both Vandy and MSU are on your schedule. Going four and four would mean that your record against competent SEC foes was 2-4! I think 9-3 (5-3) is a reasonable baseline for guaging Miles's performance. In order to post such a record, he merely needs to go 3-3 in the six games you posted. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect a .500 record against the middle and upper echelons of the SEC.

Jilted lover syndrome. Saban made them all "tingly", then he dumped em. Les, in their eyes is just a pretender, because even though he has been JUST AS SUCCESSFUL as Saban, he doesn't make them feel all "tingly" inside. Les can never do for them what Saban was able to do.

I would love to see Les Miles get pissed the way we saw Saban tear into players when the F-uped. Get pissed, get mad, throw your hat, chew some arse, DO SOMETHING! Mostly we just see him on the sideline wondering what he is going to eat for dinner. I have never seen any emotion from him whatsoever, with a few exceptions. It would cetainly inspire some of this negativity to see him get fired up.

I dunno. For some reason, it looked like five.

I hate counting with BOTH hands.

I wish I had any confidence that we could win any of those games. Unfortunately I don't think we can if we play like we have thus far.

because LM all of a sudden screaming and yelling like a blitheirng idiot on the sidelines like Nick Saban would make him a better coach. Great 'fan' mentality.
Too bad all that screaming and yelling didnt help Saban against such fierce foes like UAB and ULM...

Outside of 2003, Sabans tenure is looked at as much better than it really was.

BUT, at the time it was awesome, considerably better than it had been for a decade. He set a solid foundation, and it should be left at that.

LSU fans have a different perspective now, than we had in 2005.

I am not saying that is what made him a great coach but you obviously knew that he was passionate. I would like to see some emotion from Les other than constipation.

LSU fans are so ungreatful. We critize our coach more than a team that's 0-4. Les Mile fans should have more loyality.

I consider Brian Kelly to be one of the best coaches in college football right now, and he doesnt go around screaming and yelling at everyone. Does that mean he's any less passionate or worse a coach than Les Miles or Nick Saban?

What a horrible assumption you are making, just based on your 'astute' sideline observations.

I'll never understand this. The cameras show Miles 3 or 4 times a game. That and how do any of you know what he's thinking? Are you in his head? Like I said, alot of you people like to play Miss Cleo and 99% of the time, you're not even close.

Its not about loyalty, its about pissing away talent. The longer the deteration continues the futher we will go back to the years between 1958 and 2003. No one wants to go through the rebuilding process. Does it happen? Sure, Every program is going to struggle but watching it flounder is to hard for many to watch.
