"LSU Really Did Not Win On Nov 5th and Bama is gonna win the rematch." I dont think there is a single Tiger Fan who has not heard this since that game. This thread is dedicated to all those who have expressed that sentiment either before or since that game. In no particular order.

Who ya got? (If you think the way media treats NOV 5 and the rematch is disrespectful to LSU, give examples and names in the Media Thanks...)

1). Phil Steele
Picked Bama in the Pre Season, Nov 5th, and now in the Rematch.
Says He still thinks they are the better team.

2). Robert Smith - claimed Bama outplayed LSU. "Bama is still the best team in the SEC" and are better now than they were on Nov 5th. Saban will correct the mistakes better than Les Miles and his coaches will. Said he stakes his reputation on Bama winning the MNC this year. (Said this on Dec 10) Also "Bama moved the ball very well against LSU."

3). Mark May "LSU played like BAMA and BAMA played like LSU because BAMA doesn't make mistakes!" Bama left 16 points on the field and he doesnt see that happening again.

4). Herbstreit "Alabama outplayed LSU all game long"

5) John Ritchie On Sports Nation saying that Bama won the game between them and LSU. He said that it was because bama had no kicking game.

6). Colin Cowherd "Bama will beat LSU in the BCSCG cause everybody told them they dont belong in it." He said he thinks they are the better team.

7). Lou Holts "Bama is the better team"

8). Todd Blackledge "Alabama should have beaten LSU on Nov 5th."

9). Mel Kiper Says coming away from the Nov 5th game he felt bama was the better team.

Non Media Members but folks some would consider Note Worthy

1). Coach Vince Dooley "I still believe Alabama would win two out of three times,'' Dooley said. "I think Alabama is a little better. It was just a classic, between two of the best teams, just physical athletes, that I can remember at one time in a season.''

2). Coach John Cooper "It was a great defensive game, two great teams, very conservative game plans,'' Cooper said. "I still think Alabama was the best team but didn't win that game. I think if they played five times, Alabama would win three of them.''

3). Marquis Maze Bama WR- "We are still the best team in the country," Alabama wide receiver Marquis Maze said. "If we played them again, we wouldn't lose."

4). Darius Hanks Bama WR- "We are still the better team"

5). Jay Kornegay Vegas Spots Book “I believe Alabama is a slightly better team than LSU,” said. “We kind of felt that the perception was LSU was going to be a favorite. But if there wasn’t another book in this world, we probably would have put up Alabama -1.”

phil steele is entitled to his opinion

as ridiculous as it may be

when LSU wins on the 9th, he is still entitled to feel this way

but he'll still be wrong

Continues to pick whomever plays LSU. Total douchebag IMO. Love proving him wrong.

I love how they just 'missed' those field goals. I bet if you got that kicker out there right fricking now and spotted the ball in those exact locations he'd still miss enough to lose. It not like it's bad luck, it'd lack of goddamn skill.

Right Bama, you didn't lose you just lacked the skill to win. Fair enough.

One thing can't be argued. Sabin got out coached on Nov 5th. Miles made the right decisions in that game resulting in a win and at the end of the day that's what matters.

A good team with bad coaching = a bad team, undeserving of championship title.

Miles prep for bowl games far out weighs Saban. Even when at LSU, (Sans the 2003 BCSNC) Saban's prep is questionable. Texas beats Bama if Colt McCoy is not taken out in first quarter. Utah game is prime example of that as well. LM and JJ have some magic in Post Season Games that will show up again on Jan 9.

He said on Nov. 5th LSU played more like Alabama by not making mistakes and Alabama played more like LSU by making mistakes, doesn't see that happening again.

What an idiot, he either hasn't watched LSU at all this year or he's just stupid.

What I continue to repeat and don't understand is that by Bama fan's own account, they have said that this is the greatest team in Alabama history. If that's true, frick a FG, where's the GD touchdowns? Again, ANY team that goes in to TTown and gets victory by any margin should be the greatest team of all time. Period. Wait till we kick that arse January 9th. Then what?

Alabama: The state where losing and not winning are not the same thing. Where sister and girlfriend are the same thing. And where teeth do not come in full sets.

Said more than once that Bama "left some points on the field", whatever the frick that means.

We scored more points than them. It's called football.
