Here is my projection for the Depth Chart going into Spring drills.

• Injuries include Chestnut, Smith, Wingo, and Anderson.
• Fitzgerald West may be needed more on the O-Line than the D-Line.
• Mac Markway will see reps immediately in the 2-Tight formation.
• Jalen Brown could get #2 WR reps very early on.
• Big battles at LB, Jack, CB, WR, and HB.
• Michael Daugherty (gray highlight) is in the portal.

Widely regarded as the top returning LB in the country listed as a 2?

Am I missing something?

I still don't think Emory is the starting running back. I also think Speights is going to see the first team reps over West Weeks.

Also Harold Perkins is going to be on the field at all times this year as opposed to last season.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Harold Perkins starts at LB

Defensively I think it should be smith and Mingo at the ends with guillory/Jefferson at nose and Saivon Jones should be our Jack.

This is my opinion based on nothing but player reports and what I’ve seen guys look like on the field.

Thanks for putting this together.

Think I am counting 78 scholarship players....

I would expect us to add 3 OLinemen in the next portal session, another DB, LB and best available after that.

Sounds like Dashawn Womack might have outgrown the Jack position

Word is he’s already at 270lbs

I have all transfers and freshmen listed behind incumbent players.

He will be the starter at Sam, but this only shows the Nickel formation.

I'm hoping they can create some packages in which Maason Smith and Wingo are on the field together. Both are studs.

I expect for Smith to start at NT and Wingo to start at DT, but they both played DT last season. This chart is not predictive.

There are 2 packages from which to do this.
1. One option is to play Smith at NT and Wingo at DT in a 4-man front.
2. The other places one of them at “Big DE” in a 3-man front.
