LSU crowd is embarrassing. Stadium empties out when they go up by 2 TDs

I vividly remember counting the wins to bowl eligibility. The independence bowl against Saban was a big deal. I sat in the dome when we beat Illinois. I was there for the Georgia win in 03’. I sat in the northeast section for that come from behind against Troy when everybody left. I was in the south end zone for the Tennessee game. There will never be a game lsu plays that I’m embarrassed to be their fan. I’ll stay til that last whistle any chance I can to enjoy and take in all that is that stadium every chance I get.

If you wanna leave, go. I’m not here for you. I’m here for my tigers. I’m not blessed to live in BTR. I lived for 22 yrs in MS surrounded by state and that other school fans. Played baseball with Louis Coleman, lane mestepey, Micah schilling. Went to lsu football and baseball camps. Wasn’t good enough so I rooted from the left field bleachers.


Grew up, moved away, moved back to TX. I’m dying, absolutely dying, for a chance to see lsu play Oklahoma in person next week. Got the tailgate planned, turkey in Ruston with family then over to btr with me and the wife. Wanting a tiger win, but I’m not there for that. I’m there for the culture, the chance to see you boys in all your fury, and to spend a minute or two not in the real world. When you guys understand tiger stadium is that release, that few hours to just be entertained and frustrated, dying for perfection and not responsible for it, you’ll get it. That’s what Saturday night in tiger stadium is.

I don’t blame you. I’m poor (thanks child support), but managed to go to the Bama game this year. I stayed until the end. No traffic to beat, no reason to leave early. Stay and accept the arse beating, sing the alma mater and leave.

If I buy a ticket why do you care. I can go or not go to the game. I can get up and leave when I am ready.
