Seriously! Alabama has the same quality kids we do, along with most every other SEC school except Vandy perhaps, (speaking strictly about education level ) yet they never ever have this issue. You know very well that everyone on Bama’s campus is aligned with the PROCESS as saban says.

Would you rather have a program run like Urban Meyer did at UF and at tOSU?

UF is now a complete disaster that can’t recover from the damage that he inflicted and tOSU seems to be headed down that path.

1. Summer school grades just came out.

2. How do you know that O wasn’t aware of a possible situation regarding Ingram?

And that’s a good thing for them. It would be great for LSU if they had a coach that could come in and demand respect, and have everyone on campus support his program.

Bahnsen is still owned by Nick Saban and does his bidding.

Nick recognized this guy’s incompetence and had him reassigned to being a glorified ticket taker. I doubt he’s a big Saban fan.

If it’s a grade issue he knew. Ed himself gets a weekly grade report from the learning specialists and is always informed of any potential eligibility issues prior to them happening.

So you're saying that the compliance department is out of compliance.

How do you know Compliance “sat” on this.

If it’s a grades issue, they just came out.

You are talking out of your arse.

None of us know yet.

LSU Compliance Strikes AgainFirst off not saying Ingram doesn't deserve to be suspended, if he broke a rule the he has to deal with the results of what he did. My problem is with how LSU Compliance blindsided our HC with the info right before the press conference! Thats right, they didn't even inform him I'm until he was about to go in front of the media! If you listen to the audio from the Rotary Club the other day O did not know this was coming! Who the hell does Beau Bahnsen think he is? We go all summer without and arrest or any unsavory news and this guy can't stand it, and has to get some attention! You can't tell me that whatever Ingram did was something compliance wasn't sitting on! LSU Compliance and their leader is a joke.

SOUNDS LIKE A CONSPIRED EFFORT TO DESTROY ED.

Compliance doesn't, and will never control when final grades come out.

Yeah, great idea. Let's just go ahead and start attacking LSU Administration Officials who are doing their job. Not to mention doing a great job.

So you're saying the current compliance departments wants LSU not to succeed?

It is actually the opposite. LSU compliance is one of the best in the SEC and has saved the program from a ton of misery. LSU isn't Bama. The NCAA and SEC would put the screws to LSU if it could. Thanks to our compliance department, they haven't. Yet....

Agree, but the staff should know how their athletes are doing in classes and should have an idea if someone is close to being in jeopardy.

They do know how every student athlete is doing. And any ones on the edge are monitored extremely close.

Coaches get weekly reports so they know.

I don’t know. It certainly seems like he cares about the topic to me.

Seems pretty animated about it

If joe Alleva was in charge of this then all of a sudden there’s zero downvotes

This would be a great theory if compliance wasn’t part of Joe Alleva’s athletic department.

Idiot.

He also has a Special Assistant and one of his supposed duties is “Academic Liason.”
It’s a shame that someone who didn’t graduate from college would have this job assigned to them. Now if you want forgery and deceit, he’s your man. Hopefully he’s not performing what he’s experienced in.

I’m pretty sure summer school grades aren’t finalized until this time of year. If it’s academic it’s not an optional stance.

There is no way this was a complete surprise to O.

If Ingram was summer courses away from being Ineligable than O should have known that being ineligable was a possibility
