LSU is loaded with star power at QB. Would have been interesting and fun for LSU fans had Coach O brought both Max and Brennan to SEC media day to be interviewed by reporters. LSU’s offense is the main attraction.

If you don’t know the starting QB, Coach O is doing the right thing in not bringing either one.

The fact that Coach O ain't bringing Brennan (who has been in the program since the barack osama administration) to media days, speaks VOLUMES.

I'm no insider, don't go to practice, etc... but I have watched college football for 40+ years, and I've seen both qbs in game action like everyone else. Max will be first team qb this year, wait and see.

Joe Burrow probably couldn’t make it to the SEC media days.

Bringing seasoned vets like Deculus and Stingley makes the most sense. Reward guys who have been around and stepped up as leaders.

So you also saw that when it comes to purely playing the QB position that Brennan was better in his 3 starts than Johnson was in his 2.

Max did great things and I would be fine if he won the starting job but the offense when Brennan was the starter and when the other two freshman started was completely different. The first three games was the same offense as 2019 with less efficiency. The rest of the season was a simplistic watered down version closer to the 2018 season play calls.

He knows the media wants a QB controversy so why bring a QB to have to face those questions all day. It’s not fair to anyone. It only separates the team more. If he wanted a 3rd player I’d bring the kicker.

Don't pay the OP much mind. He arrives to TD every day on the short bus. He's one of "those guys."

Coach O is a compassionate man. He didn't want a third of the fan base's suicide on his conscious.

What a terrible idea. Thank God you don't manage the Binder.

Why so they can both be constantly asked about the QB competition, how they feel about the other guy, and all other associated questions?
