found out the TM7 dismissal actually from a source close to Nicholls as well 5 hours before it was announced.

So you were 1-2hrs ahead of the Rant then.

Writers don't typically write their headlines, especially when the web content managers operate completely separately from the print side.

This, while true, should no longer be an excuse. I think a writer needs to be responsible for what his or her outlet puts out under his or her byline, period. The "what if Michael Vick was white" headline and all of these salacious things before and since that get put on people's pieces give them carte blanche to get the views and hype while the writer avoids all criticism. The hiding behind the headline writer thing has to stop being a legitimate way to sidestep criticism in my opinion.

Oh okay I guess Tyrann told him that just yesterday only to go on to a meeting to express his interest in a return.

I understand.

TM could have been high.

One is a somewhat well respected professional journalist, and the other is a 20 year old in full meltdown suffing a blow to his ego/pride, feeling rejected, and doesnt know wether he's coming or going.

doesnt seem so difficult to fathom, now does it?

Or Kleinpeter just lied for the hell of it.

Sure. I understand.

Getting crazier by minute. @JacquesDoucet: #LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette says head coach Les Miles denies he met with Tyrann #Mathieu last night. LINK

Fwiw, this is the same poster that said tyrann to mcneese... Today

I guess he's got about 3.5 hours 'til COB - so there's time to save his credibility!

What I think most of us are bamboozled by is that the Substance Abuse Policy itself would not render him permanently inelgible. So something beyond the Policy is in play. What or Who?
