Auto Parts employees be in the look out. Someone will be looking for parts soon.... They'll be asking for headlight and right side door mirror for a suburban/ Tahoe vehicle. If they haven't already.

I'm saddened by the news first and foremost, but I'm surprised it hasn't happened to somebody on Burbank Road. I came damn close to running over a drunk dude that just darted in front of my car one night after a game and had to lock my brakes to a screeching halt to avoid doing so.

BS, the persons mirror was ripped off and has a busted light. He/she knew they hit something.

agree Gtiger9757, attention to all chevy dealers, because i dont think he will be able to get the headlight glass cover at a auto parts store... the glass is different from the light itself...

Not to hijack, but what are you trying to say here? And I'd imagine that the suspect would order parts online or go to a salvage yard.

cars were flying down river road with people walking right next to the road, I got on the other side of the ditch, after a truck got real close as it blew by at 40 mph

I noticed this too...but some of these people were 3 feet into the road. They need to get off the road and walk in the grass. I can't speak for this kid.

Prayers sent

with the # of people who have been killed or injured on RR I can't understand why the state/city hasn't built a bike or ped lane and why in the hell anyone would walk or bike on that road

I hear ya. When I hit a pothole, I lost my headlight and my side view mirror and didn't even notice it.

horrible news. I know the family a little bit. Good people. Hope he recovers. Someone just told me his neck is broken. Not confirmed, so just hearsay right now.

RR is dangerous at night. Had a good friend killed while riding his bike at night on RR when I was a student at LSU.

i know my wife had something go wrong with her taillight in the pastt and a good friend of mine who owns a auto shop told me the only way i could get the part is through a chevy dealer.... I figured a headlight cover would be the same...
I will check it out with my friend..stay tuned..

Whenever BRPD finds this piece of shite I hope he gets arrested and penalized severely. Prayers sent. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

I can GUARANTEE the BRPD will spend more manhours playing CSI with Jordan Jefferson's shoes than they ever will trying to find the driver.
