Where’s he going? He’s already the highest paid coordinator in the country.

Great insight. In related news, playing 9 players instead of 11 leads to subpar results.

It's even more amazing what he does with such a lack of sustained offensive drives.

I assumed our D would be very good this season, but I was concerned that the offensive production (lack thereof) might affect the overall defensive numbers.

Hope to hell nowhere but without him we are in a hell of a lot of trouble. Teams will come calling at end of season. LSU will have to deal with it

Saban offered him an defensive consulting position for double his LSU salary?

If I was Aranda id be gone after this season if O stayed.

Its a fricking business decision at this point. Look at our offense.

The NFL will call.

Not to mention an HC position or two could become available.

You don’t think some team would make him a HC?? He’ll get attractive offers

The word on Aranda has always been that he wants to be an NFL def. coordinator one day. But he will start getting college HC opportunities soon too. It's inevitable.

Promote the defensive genius (Aranda) to head coach. Hire top O and D coordinators and a QB only coach. With that done, we don't look much different than Alabama.

Whether or not Aranda gets away may very well not involve LSU.

The man is one of the rising stars in the coaching ranks.
If he gets a decent offer( 5 mil\year +) he absolutely should take it.

They're already calling NOW.

I'd be pleasantly shocked if Aranda was still coaching in BR this time next year.

Aranda ain't getting $5 million a year. He may get a head coaching job, but not for that kind of money.....anywhere.
