The once great GBFTL is not even in the upper half of the SEC currently. Strictly from a football support point of view, it's awesome that LSU has decided to fork out the $$$$$$ to bring the FULL BAND though.
BTW, you can't compare any SEC Band to the Aggie Band. I don't know any other College Marching Band that's doing the Intricate Military Drill Format like A&M. It's A LOT more entertaining to watch than the weak pablum we get from TBBFTL. (The Boring Band from Tiger Land) That's what many NON-Karen Sunshine Pumper Tiger Band Alums call them now.

While I agree with you that TGBFTL isn't the great band they once were, I would personally rather have a root canal than watch A&M's band march in big squares on the field. It's kind of like Ohio State's script Ohio drill. When you've seen it once, that's enough.

Sweet, I will be 4 sections from them. Last time I was that close to the band at an away game was 2019 against Texas!

TAMU band sucks and is stuck in the 1800s. TGBFTL will bring the excitement of Death Valley to the big block of concrete that the aggies call a stadium

Apparently full band only travels to one road game a season and this was the game picked prior to season. Many on here complained that it was Texas A&M and many were wanting it to be the USC game. As it turns out this is the best choice; hardest game on the remaining schedule. Worked out perfectly.

I agree. They were able to stick the LSU band and fans in the nosebleeds because it wasn't a conference game. The SEC requires that a certain number of visitor seats be located in the lower bowl, so they couldn't do that to UGA last weekend. We won't be able to do it to Texas either, although it's not the home school's decision where to place the visiting band. Their seats are taken out of the visitor allotment, so it's essentially the visiting school's administration who decides which seats to give them out of that allotment.
