For the record I think he kind of leans towards the right but that’s neither here nor there.

I have this theory that all the love we get from Herbie, Fowler, Pate, McAfee, Kyle Peterson etc. is due to us having a mostly left leaning athletic administration.

Seeing politics where it isn't is a sickness in this day and age. Can we go 30 seconds without left wing or right wing sheep politicizing everything? Regular people don't give a shite. We want LSU to be good at football.

This is a clown show. Unless you’re from Livingston Parish.

ADs are judged by football and basketball success. The others are a bonus. You sell a school on a guy and give him 10mill for 10 years, your fate is in his hands. Welcome to life.

Prior to Saban we were a program with potential. Saban elevated it, Les maintained it, Ed blew it up, the team quit on BK and then we decided to just completely melt. What high caliber coach would sign up for this type environment and situation? This whole sequence takes us back to the pre Saban days.

Maybe 5 years ago but it’s a whole new world now. The other sports may not bring in dollars to their respective sports but these days exposure is just as lucrative. In the last 5 years, we’ve had some of biggest NCAA athletes that have successfully crossed over into mainstream…Angel, Livvy, Flau’jae, Skenes… that exposure is priceless. It’s partly why LSU enrollment is exploding. LSU is a whole brand.

I'll get the numbers wrong, but the gist correct: LSU the logo/brand (because of all the things you mention) has had more mentions, eyeballs, and visibility than most other universities combined in the past couple of years. Like double other SEC schools It's a national brand in every sense of the word.

Incoming classes are at 7500+, with more than 50,000 applications/year from every US state.

All of this hand wringing about Landry is crazy. Y’all need to let your nuts hang. The future is bright!

Some people would bitch at the Governor if he didn’t get involved.
