Lol. No coach would want to come to LSU after watching the school run off a coach who lost two games

Lost the two games in an embarrassing manner.

He can save his job by winning the next two though

Decimated with injuries? We lost a TE and fullback. Our OL has somehow regressed and we have no competent backups to take over for injured players. There should be no reason you don't have a TE or FB behind Gordon and JDM that can block when you have been running this system for 11 yrs. That squarely falls on Les.

All are good points. And, I'm not saying Miles doesn't deserve criticism for all of it.

I'm referring to the "it's how we lost" point made by the board member. The failures of the 2015 team are related to personnel (recruiting gaps and injuries).

And, while many (including me) think the scheme and coaching decisions are less than perfect, that was not the cause of our two losses...at all. Bama and Ark attacked the weakness of our team.

And LSU has no answer for it. It's not like this is a one year anomaly. LSU lost 4 SEC games last year including getting skulldragged by MSU and AU and Arky.

Losing to Arkansas two in a row is really pathetic.

Yes, and watch Ole Miss and the Aggies model their game plan after those who defeated us. Unfortunately Les is a one trick pony. It's a shame, because I like him.

I would wish all you anti miles frickheads years of losing seasons if I wasn't a tiger fan. Y'all really will get what y'all deserve once you see Miles is one of the best in college football and there ain't many who can replace him and anyone who could come close ain't coming here once you dickheads run off a winning coach and one of the classiest guys around. Plus he runs a pretty clean program.

i agree w/ this!

Really? I wouldn't wish a Tiger loss for anything, no matter what any fans might say.

Don't let them get you down. To some it's Les #1, LSU #2.

Read Anderson's bio.
He is a LOOONGtime member of the BOS who has presided over a disastrous trajectory for the system as a whole. When your organization enters into contracts for tens or hundreds of million dollars with dozens of blank pages, your institution is in trouble.
I'm not a huge fan of Les' overall performance, but Les Miles is bright spot in an overall underperforming and financially troubled LSU system.
Who is responsible for that?
Politically connected morons like Ron Anderson...

No one is saying they want lsu to lose after Les leaves but it would probably be karma for the people that tried to make the last 11 years as miserable as possible because they hated the coach.

Anyone with a brain knows that having a board member talking like this with games left to play especially with the coach's history and success at the school is not a good look at all.

Exactly. Since 1/9 Les just hasn't lived up to the potential with massive talent on both sides of the ball. It's sad to see because I love Les. Running the ball straight at Bama this season without any intelligent adjustments was the final straw for me. Les is stuck in an outdated, uncreative mindset.

LSU AD is in the black. Separate arguments.

The crumbling university system in Louisiana is mutually exclusive from the AD and TAF.

You take on the BOS if that's your fight.

ya'll do realize all these guys are politicians, right? If you think this was a mistake and not a calculated statement from the BOS released through Anderson you're poorly mistaken.

I don't normally respond to you, but for this statement I agree. There was no reason for him to be quoted on Miles future at all. Don't care if it was pro, con or indifferent.

I'd like to see what Les has in store for one more year. Making 2016 an arse on fire season. With harris, fournette, dupre, godchaux, and adams. Coach O with a full season of recruiting D line. I've been looking forward to next season as being our year with quite of few key players being juniors.
