It's more than the two losses this year.

Agreed. But i do think he shouldn't be fired for losing two, but next year will probably be sec championship or bye bye.

Tbh I think you're probably giving them too much credit. Alleva is clueless.

He's in Bama. I don't see him coming back.

Agreed.

It's still meaningful though.

Ever thought that the board is just tired of the same old consistent year after year that game and that game and that call and that timeout and that loss.

They are maybe looking at the WHOLE picture.

This is not the first season in which a strong team suddenly fails to even compete in one or two games, with the head coach only giving puzzled looks and stuttering statments that insinuate he had no idea what happened. Something like this will be the beginning of the end of the prosperity of LSU football if it goes unchecked. I like Miles and have loads of respect for what he has done, but everything ends eventually.

I do think they have to be careful. You let a guy go coming off a sugar bowl year and other coaches will notice.

The time for change is here but you also don't want to jump without your parachute

proves rabalais wasn't making stuff up too. Some people on here accused him of trying to manufacture controversy.

It sounds like their minds are already made up. I don't see Les being in Baton Rouge next fall unless it's on ESPN's College GameDay.

Lol. No coach would want to come to LSU after watching the school run off a coach who lost two games

True. And, this quote kind of underscores how little the fans and in this case the board member understands about football.

LSU was gashed by two power football teams. LSU's power blocking game has been decimated with injuries. Neither of the games we played could have had a different outcome with a different gameplan or different in game coaching.

the media would absolutely go nuts on LSU for firing Les over a two loss season

The same media that we are told thinks Miles is a moron?

Think about it. What quality coach would want to come to a school whose BOS are running their mouths off behind his back? Who wants to run a program knowing some fat cat political appointee with more money than class is publicly undermining his efforts?

Tell me why it's necessary to continue to distract the team and the assistant coaches with this as if they don't have cell phones, friends, or family members?

I would wish all you anti miles frickheads years of losing seasons if I wasn't a tiger fan. Y'all really will get what y'all deserve once you see Miles is one of the best in college football and there ain't many who can replace him and anyone who could come close ain't coming here once you dickheads run off a winning coach and one of the classiest guys around. Plus he runs a pretty clean program.

I disagree with you often and think we should probably move on from Miles, but couldn't agree more.

Also, very pathetic by Guibleau. The guy chastises the fanbase this past week, saying Miles and the team deserve better, and then he drops this bomb the night before the game? What a scumbag.
