Hot off the press from my quant..

LSU appears to be grossly / negligently under represented on the SEC Executive Committee ("SECEC").

According to LINK

Since 1980 LSU has been represented on the SECEC only 14 years, or 30% of the time.

Comparatively, Ole Miss has been represented 37 years (80% of the time).

LSU is ranked dead last compared to the 9 other founding members, plus Arkansas and South Carolina.

Both S.C. and ARK have been represented more (19 of 34 years) despite joining the SEC in 1992.

Furthermore, LSU is the only founding member not to have a President nor Vice President of the SEC Executive Committee since 1980.

LSU's last President was John Hunter in 1970.

Scott Woodward was the last LSU Rep (executive committee) in 2019.

Presidents and VPs since 1980
OM: 3P + 2VP
AUB: 6P + 4VP
FL: 5P + 6VP
GA: 6P + 5VP
TN: 5P + 7VP
AL: 2P + 4VP

Is this a $$ issue? Why is LSU getting f'ed re: the SECEC?

Has Commissioner Sankey been influenced / encouraged to attack LSU, perhaps emboldened due to the lack of equal representation on the SECEC?

How does the SEC reconcile this apparent, direct discrimination towards a founding member University?

So it looks like since a few years run with Emmert and up till 2007, when Saban returned, the only time we have been represented was in 2019 and then 2020 with Woodward??

That’s quite a long break, poor Miles

Get Ted Sarandos on the line

Sheesh. The more and more we find out, the more I’m beginning to wonder about the competence of and legal counsel given to the other league presidents.

Waiting for a class action judgment for players that includes payments from everyone in the SEC except LSU.

Nah, call Tony Pettiti. Not only is he the B1G commissioner, he is Pres of MLB Network and former MLB Deputy Commissioner. Think he might love having CJJ and the Tigers in his conference. I never thought I'd advocate leaving the SEC, but it's time for a fresh start
