Correct take, this is an 8-4 / 7-5 team

It's KENTUCKY with a first time head coach in his first season there

And LSU’s former OC that couldn’t get run out of town fast enough.

Mainly because this team plays like 2019 LSU at home and then looks like rotten dog shite on the road

Easy to look that good at home when they’re playing the likes of Clemson and A&M

We beat La Tech 45-14. We threw 3 picks sure, but also we beat the frick out of La Tech.

Agreed, in the end we pulled away thru superior players and their fatigue.

It was 10-7 at half. Not ideal. Leavitt made some tough mistakes.
We showed some weakness in power running the ball. Tech stuffed us

It’s crazy to think a new roster in the SEC would just run the table

I don't think anyone thought LSU was going to "run the table". But 1/2 through the season LSU already has 2 losses and still has 6 SEC games left, 3 on the road where LSU has yet to prove it can win.

Plus, next year will be another "new roster". The spots where it might be new may be different, but it will still be new because that is simply the nature of the sport today.

Favored in every game outside of Texas and Alabama. For what it’s worth Miss State and Tennessee are both ranked higher than LSU.
These games are not cakewalks.
Speaking of rankings Notre Dame is now #1 and would probably be underdog against many SEC teams.

They have two losses with half the season and two of their hardest games left, and haven't shown they can win on the road in the conference

Too many injuries to overcome this season. You needed to beat UK for breathing room. You don’t have it. You won’t make the CFP this season.

Favored in every other game

This means nothing. We were favored vs Ole Miss and were big favorites vs Kentucky.

Only thing they have done is spent their NIL money. It’s ruined college sports. These kids dont care if they win or lose. They just want that money.

If LSU goes 9-3 and drops one or UT/Bama/UTenn, it would be hard to leave them out.

2 and possibly 3 road losses all by marginal amounts should still keep us in the conversation.

We'll know nothing until we play Bama, unless we lose again, in which case we'll know how bad we suck!

They aren't being slept on. They haven't beaten any team with a pulse. And keeping games close against Ole Piss and Kentucky isnt a moral victory.
