So there are 20 undefeated teams in college basketball. We made the list. If this guy thinks we're frauds so be it. We aren't title contenders. We aren't SEC title contenders. Just want to be better than last year. Lazy article to be honest. "Oh look! LSU, Eastern Washington, and Stephen F. Austin aren't title contenders!" Well no shite huh?

Agree that it was a lazy article. It's so hard to find stuff on LSU basketball that anything gets published right now. haha.

Given our past three years we can't expect instant respect. We have to earn it. The road trip and Boise State will go a long ways toward that if we are successful. The road is a lot harder than playing at home though.
I hope we can at least sweep Ole Miss this year and throw that back in his face as he thinks they are better than we are.

Low blow. It would have been one of my top moments of my life to be there. Finals end next Wednesday so gonna try to make it up over the break and next semester.

Pretty sure his use of the term "fraud" implies that those teams won't make the big dance. If that's the case, he's probably accurate in LSU's case. Way too early to believe this team could get into the main party. That being said, I think they have a legitimate shot to get into the NIT with only average improvement the rest of the way. Marked improvement could get this group into the dance. Let's hope.

We've got Ole Miss at home the last game of the regular season. We've got Auburn on the road the first game of the SEC season. For some reason we play South Carolina twice, but Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Auburn only once. We also get Mizzou twice.
ETA: I think we can start off 3-1 in SEC play.

I don't see why he has Ole Miss in the not buying section and LSU as a fraud. He knocks LSU playing every game at home against bad teams but Ole Miss had taken down the goliaths of Mississippi Valley, Coastal Carolina, Arkansas-LR, McNeese State, Lipscomb, and Rutgers.
LSU is the only not shite school in the fraud section. Yeah I mad.
