Less than 10 games in and these guys know who's who ? Whatever ! At this point, it's as good as a pre-season poll.
I thought the Tigers showed a lot of heart against SH and made free throws down the stretch.

yea i wanna see us play away from home more than once. see how we do in those three games and we'll have a better idea. fraud is a little harsh. i'll be thrilled if we go 2-1 on that roadtrip.

I think the SEC as a league is a fraud....there have been some gruesome non-conference losses.
Mississippi State to Troy and by 46 to UNC and by 27 to Marquette
Georgia to Youngstown State and Southern Miss
and by 11 to USF
Auburn to Murray State, Rhode Island and by 10 to Dayton
Vandy by 26 to Oregon and by 13 to Davidson and by 17 to Marist (50-33)
Texas A$M by 21 to St. Louis
South Carolina by 12 to Elon and by 24 to St. John's

Some of these aren't really the bad losses you think they are. And also, the SEC as a league can't be a Fraud because the perception of the league isn't all that high to begin with.

Perhaps the losses aren't as bad...but it is clear early that at this moment, Auburn, Mississippis State, Texas A$M, and South Carolina are BAD basketball teams. I expect Vandy to get better....but as the season goes along, we really should beat this group because I think we are better. But it is only December...a lot can change before conference starts.

the CBS sports guys have obviously not read southofsouth's in depth breakdowns of the team or regaled in his pie charts and graphs, or they would have certainly not called us frauds ..

Ole Miss is a solid team and will probably be a tourney team.
Just because Boise beat ULL by 5 doesn't mean LSU will beat them. This same Boise team went to Creighton and won by 13 and lost at Michigan St by 5.

I'm hopeful that it plays out this way as well. We'll know more after this road trip. But one of paysite guys said we'll go 5-13 in conference and have 15 losses on the season. I didn't get to ask if he'd actually seen any of our SEC competition. I think we can win 8-9 SEC games.
