It allows him to see how the game is being called and not get in foul trouble. He comes in rested and is able to take advantage of a tired defense.

I'm sure you were not complaining at the start of the season when Days was lights out shooting... Shooters in slumps, its a couple of games; don't bench him after a couple, let him find his confidence again!
