Not sure what's worse: being embarrassed by your 40 year old frat escapades or taunting someone about their 40 year old frat escapades.

I think he graduated from NLU, so he must have transferred back.

I love how people on here think pissy fans are exclusive to LSU. They're present in every single major athletic fanbase.

Bigger story on Finebaum was Matt Jones saying Johnny Jones is a bad coach and that Calipari would take the current LSU talent to a top 10 ranking.

No one thinks it's exclusive to LSU.

LSU fans just are a notch above, including this.

Tim Brando can shut up! The problem with LSU fans is our team is never any good two years in a row!! If our team was consistently good the team would have mega fan support!!

Bring in soon to be #1 pick in NBA Draft and you need to win the SEC tourney to make the NCAA tourney. Who cares if we sell out

I agree, and I also could not understand why Johnny O'Bryant left a year early. And why did Jordan Mickey/ Jarrell Martin leave after their Sophomore seasons. I mean we had the Number 1 guy coming you would think they may want to make a push in the tourney, work on their game etc. If these guys leaned more to staying, Coach Johnny Jones, would not be in this bad of a position. No one acknowledges that.

Brando seems like the kinda guy who wants LSU to accept being mediocre at everything. The minute the fans base becomes complacent with it, we no longer strive to win at anything.

Finebaum should have asked him why CBS let him go this past season.

There is no denying it.... Johnny Jones is not a good HC. He needs to to come to terms with his faults and feel the void wth AC's who can make the team better.

All successful coaches surround their self with good coaches. Head coaches coach coaches and coaches coach players.

He did. He is NOT an LSU alum.

He got his first football gig (well, decent gig) as a sideline reporter for LSU on Tigervision in '85-'86. He was Jordy before Jordy.

In '87. he took Larry Burnette's place as the CFB studio and game updates guy. He was not in the broadcast booth/table. Still, he essentially was a one man show and once in a while had to dig up that fossil known as Beano Cook to have some discussion. ESPN was still 9-10 years away from Gameday. He was who Dari Noka (or whoever) is today. ESPN, in 1987, would do no more than 3 games in a day...a 2 pm, 6 pm, and a late west coast San Diego State vs. Hawaii type of game. ABC and ESPN had no connection then.

He then moved on to do Jefferson-Pilot games with Larry Conley/Barry Booker, etc.

I think it was around 1998 or so that he got the gig with Spencer Tillman at CBS. I could be wrong and I also might have missed another major jump in there somewhere.

Tim likes LSU, but as Nostro said, he gets defensive about not being an LSU alum. His father also plays a large part in his career.

BUT, to the point...he knows better. He has seen the best and worst of LSU basketball and he damn well knows that this is not 1996 or 1999 where 5,000 showed up to the games and LSU put out a non-creative and last place product. This is a Gulibeau type comment to make -- something to make him relevant, anyway he can be.

I have also but Glenn's career is now radio and Twitter and he attacks Donald Trump only because he gets publicity. He could have been bigger than O'Reilly. His show was uncanny. He of course said the wrong things and got canned from FOX. He is never going to be what he could have been.

I have seen Tim be "right more often", but that does not mean that he didn't get tired and lost his place in the broadcasting hierarchy, much like Ron Franklin and Mike Patrick. Aging may be a symptom, but Tim cannot be but about 60.

frick Brando.

His arse wouldn't go to an LSU game unless you paid him too.

LSU, like all schools just want a consistent product.

So the fans have no reason to be pissed off after this shite show?

Eat shite Tim.

We've won ONE tournament game since that 2006 team. Yeah, we are so spoiled
