Absolutely.

Idk if it has to be CF for CF but you can arrange the other 2 OF positions however you want someone is getting bumped.

Yes, Crews has earned a spot on this list.

Either Crews CF and Mahtook RF or swap them. Doesn’t matter.

Dean to DH.

The question is, how would you construct the batting order?

Or would you even care what order?
Who’s the biggest hole in the lineup?

Based on the write-ups, it looks like they used specific OF positions rather than any 3 outfielders. So Crews gets in there but displaces Mahtook.

But Mahtook also played a ton of RF

Split time at CF/RF his freshman year, played RF his sophomore year and then CF his junior year

Crews also played RF his freshman year

Neither always only played CF by any means

Some things to also consider - Mouton only played 2 years here (with pre-BESR ridiculous bats), Dean played with BESR bats all 4 years while Mahtook had BESR bats for 2 years then BBCOR his final year. Crews never had the advantage of juiced up bats which would be kind of insane to think what he could have done with BESR bats considering how hard he hits everything

I agree, bump Mahtook to RF and Crews at CF.

The BESR bats is whole other thread, but good point!

I'm down with Bregman over Larson as well.

Its fun, so few positions for so many excellent bats!

They should have done a 3 man rotation and a closer/setup man.

Love Larson, but yeah, I'm taking Bregman over him at SS.

A lot of how good this team would be which bats are used. If it were the back in the day bats, LSU would be unstoppable.

Alex Edwards should be there at 3rd base.

Tommy White could make a good argument at 3B. Will need a similar or better showing next year and assume a leadership role.

Not a fan of Skenes over Ben with only one year though.

It should be Aaron Nola anyway.

If we’re bumping Larson off the list I’m going with Nola.

Y’all can hate away.

I could see that but looking at the writeups it sure looks like they decided "This guy is CF, LF or RF" and then stopped there.

I think you really should always look at CFs as a player that can move to LF or RF and generally outfielders as nearly interchangeable with the only caveat being speed in CF and possibly arm strength in RF.

LSU has had a plethora of great outfielders.
