Youre getting "honest & straight" confused with emotional and bitchy.
You arent the only one though. There are plenty of "game over" and "Im done" posts in the first inning of almost every game. Just practice some self-restraint during the off-season and come back next year with a new approach.
Baseball season is not the same as football season. 1 game does not make or break you. Some days the bats show up and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes the gloves show up and sometimes they don’t.

They were picked to finish 4th in the west. They finished 3rd in the west and 4th overall. That’s overachieving.
How can you look at this roster with its starting pitching and defense the think they could have done better? The defense you couldn’t predict before the season but we knew the starting pitching would be suspect.

Thompson & Doughty both regressed defensively, and it has cost lsu multiple games.
I think we take for granted how great lsu has been on defense the last two decades. The standard was not met this year & that was eye opening.
I knew the pitching would be fine. That’s on record but no one wanted to really hear it.
LSUs preseason ranking would have been more aggressive if these same players had returned with PM. So everyone backed off putting them any higher despite the roster-talent dictating otherwise.
It’s been a fun season, & I’ll give him this year to acclimate. To say they overachieved is laughable but you are entitled to that opinion if your standards were met
