So there have been 22 Super Regionals since this format started in 1999, and we've been in 15 of them. Pretty good track record.

It's pretty remarkable LSU hasn't played in a road Super Regional since 2002. That means you're a great program. They've had a little luck with some upsets in 2004 and 2019 but other than that LSU was a national seed.

It was pre-Stony Brook

LSU was 5-0 in home Super Regionals pre-Stony Brook

LSU is 3-3 in home (all) Super Regionals since Stony Brook

We hadn't won a road regional since 1989 before this year, but we were at home most of the time since then, so we never had that opportunity.

And this is why you see all the dumb asses on here crying about every single coach because they don't bring in this type of track record.

They want Mainieri gone, but can't accept anything less than what he's done, without realizing that hardly anybody can compare.

It's time for Paul to go, but replacing him with somebody who can do what he has done will not be easy. And they certainly won't come in with his skins on the wall.

A name mentioned last week had more skins on the wall, but people choose to look at a situation on the surface instead of digging deeper.

2002 hurts my eyes to look at. Zero runs in a super regional. Thanks Smoke.
