EIGHT starters have an OBP of at least .435 (Crews tops at .648 and 4 others over .490). This team should be able to score amply, even without the long ball.

In the past it would be us running into a small ball team playing in a bigger park



But I don’t think we have to worry about that this year.

SEC schedule. Many SEC teams are ranked.

I've said it before, but this team takes a disciplined approach at the plate. The guy who throws an 84 mph fastball counts on the hitters to chase the ball out of the zone. It will be very difficult for that type of pitcher to get through this lineup more than once.

I agree. Won’t be batting practice playing these SEC teams. We go 20-10 in league play and get hot in post season we’ll have a chance to do something special. Now need to find out clutch hitters to win some tight 4-2 games, ya know?
