The box is dead, we let pitchers talk shite to our team yet we give them standing ovations for it and CJJ is kind of a bitch.

It must feel great for opponents to come into the box and made to feel at home

LSU baseball will be back. Let Johnson bring in some recruiting classes. Patience.

JJ definitely doesn’t have any of that Napoleon attitude some other small coaches we know have... his team sort of plays like his demeanor - defeated...

I don’t think Johnson is going to work. Next year will be telling. Think the stage and league are too big for him

This weekend was completely miserable, no disputing that. But did OP feel this way on Thursday?

Is winning more conference games than last year truly “life support”?

Yes fan apathy is an issue, and so is lack of pitching. But people need to calm down. Anyone expecting a national seed or a CWS appearance this year is a fool or let the regional win skew their memory of what last season was like.

This team never had the pitching to win 18-20 SEC games. 15-17 was always the ceiling.

Y'all say this after every series loss and are nowhere to be found after wins. This weekend was brutal, but Jay is the right guy.

I'm afraid you're right. Remember what happened to Tennessee with Dave Serrano?

There are so many holes in the roster he inherited+ injuries to key players there is no way I agree with this.

So you can assess that JJ isn't going to work after 1 season, where he took a losing record SEC team with no pitching and made them better? JJ has beat SEC teams on his run to Omaha lol
You guys need to chill he's definitely going to work

And you’ve come to this conclusion based on his better record this year than last year, already with a series still left; or based on his no.1 recruit class coming in, or what?… like what exactly has made you think this? Losing to a team that was at one point #1 in the nation, and playing extremely hot baseball right now? Like you realize just about any team would’ve lost to ole miss this weekend, they are playing lights out.

He’s been to Omaha more recently than Mainieri.

If things go well, you'll never remind us that you were this short-sighted.

Lighten up Frances. Things will improve. They already have more conference wins than last year.
