If we win tonight, it would be the best win of any bubble team. Beating UK wouldn't completely make up for the bad losses, but would give us some more leeway down the stretch.

I think it's embarrassing that people have been talking about this game for weeks now. They act like this is supposed to be a matchup of super powers. We can't even beat Auburn, or Missouri.

That doesn't mean that we can't pull the upset, but I wish we'd worry a little more about beating the suck arse teams at the bottom of our conference so that we can get a NCAA berth instead of focusing on one fluke night.

It's how most teams work. We as football and baseball fans are not use to this, because we are at the top we are the teams that people give their best shot. Basketball is different, if we are to compare this to Football, I would say Kentucky was like USC in the early 2000s when they dominated the Pac 10. Teams would have huge motivation to beat USC. Now the coaches will say let's focus on the next weeks opponent but in that players mind, USC is always at the back.

To put it simply teams who usually aren't at the top, when a #1 team comes in we get all worked up. It's human nature to do this. It's like class work, the daily quizzes or assignments probably have a bigger impact on your grade than a test, but you get all worked up about the test because it is such a huge deal. The same goes with sports, when you play the best team in the country you're going to get excited and worked up for it. Beating Kentucky would make our season.

Note: I agree with you but you're not going to change the way people treat this game.

oh I agree, but his point which I agree with is we focused on the duds of the conference and don't get upset, than maybe we wouldn't have to beat Kentucky to make up for those bad losses.

Oh, I agree with that. If we didn't keep stubbing our toes against SEC bottom feeders, we would have absolutely no pressure to win tonight. It's a big reason why this team can be so hard to watch.

Possibly. Going to try and buy a pair outside the PMAC, if that fails just watch it somewhere with cheap drinks.

Am I a bad fan if I have been to more gymnastics meets this year than basketball games?

I just don't understand how college baseball hasn't taken off in the Northeast.

It probably doesn't break 80 degrees in their college baseball season until their conference tournaments.

Glad someone is. I know basketball has a big game tonight, but I'm still excited for baseball.

Was already discussed, but you would fap to that regional? That would be a ridiculously difficult draw. Undoubtedly one of the toughest of the entire field.

having laffy in the regional could be fun.

FSU's annual choke show doesn't scare anyone.

wright st would probably win it all.
