Shouldnt factor in. Dont think deichmann was gonna start regardless. Think it means some playing time for jordan.

I don't think the deichmann injury changes the way anything would have played out in the first month of the season anyway.

The Deichmann at 3B experiment already died before the injury.
He told the media last week that he was working almost exclusively at 2nd. If Zardon can't hack it defensively, which I think he can, then absolutely Hale is the next one up.

Yeah, he's short, but height for a first baseman is a tad overblown as it is anyway.
