We need more rain like this to improve the bogue chitto river tubing experience

Nothing will ruin a solid buzz faster than walking half the route in ankle deep water dragging a full ice chest and a cranky half drunk girlfriend.

I know NCAA officials have the final call, but Jay certainly has input.
Yep, they have two officials on site who technically make the final decision, but per the host manual the umpire crew chief, tournament manager, and the weather monitor all have input. The tournament manager and weather monitor are assigned by the host. So guess where their recommendations come from.

Jay should just pick to play the night game if he wants night games so bad. The 2/3 seeds would be starting right now and LSU could play at 7 pm.

This your first time watching a rain delayed regionals?

30+ years of LSU baseball, yeah my first time. Show me where a pitcher needs 45 minutes to stretch, warm up, pitch strategy, etc.

The first post you made in here was doubting me. *second post

That post was letting you know that the officials were worried about rain from 4:00 - 5:00 so we weren’t going to start at 2:00.

It wasn’t disagreeing with your assessment of the weather.

A starting pitcher needs probably about ten minutes to go through his routine idk. Both teams need infield warmups, followed by the infield being dragged, watered and repainted. Then we need to line up and hear the national anthem. This can all take about 45 minutes.

This is a move by LSU to delay the start as long as possible.
