Saw this on the team twitter account.
Not only have we led baseball attendance for 24 consecutive seasons, but also:
-21st in attendance of ALL sporting events
-more than EVERY college basketball team
-more than EVERY PAC-12 football team
-more than 45 out of 64 P5 football teams
Edit: this is overall attendance

Greatest show on dirt. Can’t wait to cheer for the P&G at the Box again this year!

We need to get those football numbers up by having more big games at home and not at neutral sites.

Thanks for the pic, never been able to post a pic on here. Also a bit lazy to make an imgur account

This picture is confusing me.

It says 21st highest (safe to assume that 1-20 are all football), then shows LSU baseball at #20 compared to football attendance.

Then it lists ND football as notable at 465k but isn't on the list on the left.

they must not be listing ND as “power 5”, even though technically, they are.

that would explain being 20 instead of 21 and ND football not being up there

21st of ALL sports and 20th of P5.
Not sure how Notre Dame fits or doesn’t fit in P5 but as somebody said above me I thought they were considered a P5 team.
What I feel like is odd is comparing football and baseball overall attendance considering 25+ home baseball games vs 6 (I think) home football games. But with stadium size factored in its still crazy that we have a higher attendance than most P5 football programs

Can't believe they left off my favorite stat:

For the last 2 years, LSU has had a per-game average higher than the Miami Marlins.

I’m assuming you are correct. Season ticket sales verses actual attendance. Very misleading

So they’re counting paid attendance for LSU baseball which is way higher than actual attendance? And baseball played 40 home games in 2019? Talk about massaging the numbers to create a story.

Attendance static’s are normally paid and not actual.
