Baranik and Johnson were effective in their limited innings as freshmen. Marcus Davis raked while at Walters and could have easily locked down a starting OF position. 2 of the guys RS'd last year. Koziol was highly rated, not sure how he's performing now.

Some of the guys had extenuating circumstances.

I really don't understand the Aaron Johnson thing. Dude looked good, just didn't get many chances.

There was a rumor that him and PM disagreed on whether or not he should red shirt. He didn't think he should. So Mainieri threw him 3 innings and shelved him just to burn his red shirt, but not to give him a real chance to play.

I'm surprised Baranik was even on the team last year after the way Mainieri handled Koziol in a similar situation.

I made our reservations yesterday at the Capstone Hotel for the Bama series in April. Let's make sure we make the Bear Bryant Museum this year.

I need to get in on some of these road trips. I'd like to go to the SEC baseball tourney at some point.

He didn't run these two off. They ran themselves off the team.

with all the BBQ buddies LSU coaches have you'd think that LSU would be a BBQ powerhouse by now.

Isn't the reason most go to Juco is to avoid sitting out a year and they can be drafted every year?

Yes and no - some of these guys have personal demons they are dealing with. Same thing happens in football/basketball.
