I haven't had the heart to tell Russian that some of the coaches committee email updates he gets, and then makes it a point to post it and tell everyone it is an email from Davis for the committee, is actually just a press release on lsusports.net from the previous day.

Wrong. The email tells us it's a press release so I know it will be in the media.
The press release is sent to CC members simultaneously with its release to news media. When I post one of them, which is seldom, it's before they show up anywhere in the media and I only do it when there is some special information that I think some posters might want to see earlier than when it makes the news.
