We have 5 SEC home games next season instead of the 4 we have this season.

Sure but it's mizzou, vandy, OM, Arky, and Oklahoma. That's the worst home slate that I can remember and only 2 traditional opponents. And if you're just counting #'s don't forget that we're also giving up a nonconference game to go to frickin houston for reasons I can't understand

The only reason I’m ok with gaps in series like Bama is if we get Tennessee Georgia Florida and Auburn more frequently.

I get what you’re saying, but Florida doesn’t belong in this sentence since they’ve been dropped as an annual opponent as well. Like another poster said, frick this new SEC.

Just wait until the Conference expands. OK State/SMU and Clemson/NC State/FSU , who ever ? The Conference is searching for more money, and traditional rivalries go flying out the window forever.
