Tate was good enough for Provost at S. Carolina.
He is now being asked to be in charge of a system that has a flagship university multiple undergrads 2 Med schools, managing contracts with hospital systems and a law school.
Henderson has been in charge of a Louisiana system.
Moving from provost of a singular university to the president of the flagship system is a HUGE jump

Yes. There is nothing wrong with discussing, theorizing, and/or studying CRT.
It should be relegated to a quick, but utterly dismissed, discussion similar to Hitler's theories on racial identity. It should never be taken seriously by anyone who isn't an ignorant f*cking racist.
quote:
Hitler immediately made changes to the school curriculum. Education in "racial awareness" began at school and children were constantly reminded of their racial duties to the "national community". Biology, along with political education, became compulsory. Children learnt about "worthy" and "unworthy" races, about breeding and hereditary disease.
There's virtually no difference between Hitler's garbage and Tate's ignorant brainwashing.

Examining different learning methods and capabilities of different cultural backgrounds is fine and certainly relevant in teaching.
Boiling it down to “whites” and African American, as if we are in one monoculture is not that though. CRT quite literally argues that since math was created by whites, then it inherently benefits whites at the expense of blacks.
Don’t be disingenuous.
And when this comes from salmon, you know you've goofed

Tate and Henderson aren’t even in the same universe as far as qualifications.
Henderson should’ve been a slam dunk, if we lived on a normal timeline.

Besides the worthy and unworthy part which is a pretty big deal.
If I’m wrong please let me know where Tate has argued white people are lesser beings like Hitler argues about blacks, Jews, Asians, and Slavs.
You can just point me to one of the many studies you e read before deciding to burn your degree in protest.

Objectively speaking CRT challenges the First Anendment and indirectly calls for it to be reformed.
So yea.....
I don’t think you know what objectively means

Why did you ignore the second part of my post which would directly address your Hitler comparison?
Posted on 5/6/21 at 7:38 pm to SammyTiger
So you are saying that you can believe part of CRT?
Which parts does he disagree with?
Which parts does he disagree with?

Yes, you mentioned this in your earlier post to me. I didn’t respond then because it’s irrelevant and ridiculous.
You brought up SEC. I’d say it’s pretty relevant that he was the Provost at an SEC school.

I'll be honest, I've looked at his CV and not read his writings closely. Also, I'm not disagreeing with you that elements of CRT sound very similar to how other societies have justified genocide and eugenics. However, have you actually seen such horrendous conclusions in Tate's own works?

I usually stop reading when I come across something that is so f*cking ignorant.

I am Saying you’re talking out of your arse.
The guys published quite a bit so it shouldn’t be hard for you to find him saying whites are lesser beings.

How many hospital systems did he negotiate with as provost?
Listen I’m willing to give him a chance but you are seriously reaching on this provost thing especially when one of the other candidates is a system president at a system within the state of Louisiana

Lol you trying to discern the definition of any word is laugh out loud.
You clearly haven't even read up on CRT at all. You're no better than the rest of the pitchforks pions on here.
Read up on it and then come back and discuss how it DOESNT involve tearing away parts of the first amendment. But you can't really tear away part of it, it's all or nothing. That's why it's a dangerous theory.
I don't expect an adult response or conversation from you.

CRT is a cancerous thought process.
Our DNA is not so different that we have to create new processes for literally everything in order for equity.

From an article posted in another thread:
This year, several state legislatures have introduced bills to achieve the same goal: preventing public institutions from conducting programs that stereotype, scapegoat, or demean people on the basis of race. And I have organized a coalition of attorneys to file lawsuits against schools and government agencies that impose critical race theory-based programs on grounds of the First Amendment (which protects citizens from compelled speech), the Fourteenth Amendment (which provides equal protection under the law), and the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (which prohibits public institutions from discriminating on the basis of race).

What exactly did I say that was so ignorant, exactly?
Ideas should be allowed to be discussed freely. How is that ignorant?

Predictable hire in today’s society. Too bad it wasn’t made in February
