I would mitt I know very little about college baseball. But the parallels between Paul M and Les Miles are scary. Underachieve with great talent and yet PM has kept his job. Have to believe that AD will not let this go on much longer.

Getting blown out on a pivotal game. Pretty sad.

I think the problem is, is that these players just aren’t as talented and good as we thought they would be. They haven’t been able to execute, like hitting the ball with RISP, or pitchers hitting their spots, and they leave breaking pitches right over the plate. Sometimes there is just little you can do as a coach whenever your players just can’t execute and do what they’re supposed to do

Paul should have been fired after the 0-2 in Omaha in 2013 after the greatest season in baseball history.

Good thing it’s just baseball. If this were football it would be a disaster.

The parallels are undeniable. Paul seems listless. And where is the team leadership? Where is the player fire? There's no chemistry. Everyone is just going through the motions, including Paul.

This is not one bad season. This is the second bad season. This team lost 27 games last year and with a loss today would be 66-45 ( .595) over the past 111 games.

Unacceptable to have a bad season....hell, just look up a couple of post and you'll see that it is unacceptable to make it to Omaha and go 0-2.

Some of the knee-jerk fans on The Rant are mind-bogglingly short-sighted. I am terrified to think what the average IQ here.

How in the hell does two games out of first place overall in the conference even qualify as a "bad" season?

Y'all do realize that during the Florida series we didn't even have enough healthy players to fill out a full roster of 27, right?

If you all cannot understand the injury issues that have plagued this team and the fact that we are STILL only two games back overall, I don't know what else will make you understand.

Now, if you want to argue that everyone should be healthy and our staff is not making that happen, maybe you might have some sort of argument. If you want to say that hitting is not consistent enough and we should be doing better, I get that, too. But to call this a "bad" season or to not see what is going on when we do not even have a left handed arm healthy is just ridiculous.

the injury issues

I have seen many posts about how terrible this team allegedly is but no one has ever listed the injuries. Would you remind everyone what they are?
