We'll be doing both a real tailgate (were invited to one next to the stadium) and this party. What's great about this. We don't have to bring anything.....

No coolers, tents, tables, notta!

Plan is to have fun, visit with friends with no set up or clean up. I echo someone else on here who said, if you've ever footed the bill (and I have) for a full blown tailgate for friends and family plus guests you know this is an unbelievable price.

Hope yall join us, but if not Geaux Tigers anyway. This venue will be set up for a large crowd. Most of the bars, etc. around here aren't this size so will struggle with the larger than normal expected crowds. ND fans are coming in mass.

Not sure why some think this won't be fun.

I guess my thing is I have never been to Nashville. Game is early and wouldn't mind checking out things in the city. Paying for this means you are pretty much stuck there unless you want to spend $65 and be there for maybe 1 hour before the game.

Everybody does the Country Music Hall of Fame. One of the great unsung things to do is the Musicians Hall of Fame, in the wings of the brand new downtown arena. As their advertising says, "Go to the Country Music Hall of Fame for the shiny cars and chrome - go to the Musicians Hall of Fame for the engine and wheels." Lots of instruments there with donations from names you know.. When my son was small and the place first opened, the manager (Joe Chambers - swell fella) placed a bass in my son's hands and told him that was the bass that 'Layla" was recorded on. Son never forgot it.

Trust me...as someone who plans parties like this for the traveling Tigers the is a great deal. Our group will be joining in with them. The Nashville chapter is a great Alumni chapter and does it the right way.

The Houston party was a success as well. It just got too big. But they can say they threw a huge party and made some money for scholarships which is what we ask our chapters to do.

And...the Alumni Association is in the best shape it has ever been with our new leadership and great staff. We are excited about the future and excited about our Alumni Chapters across the world. If you graduated from LSU or even if you didn't you should consider joining.

This party will be great...$65 is a great price for all you can eat and drink and entertainment....not to mention its indoors and they have restrooms as well.
