This article has absolutely nothing to do with King or any of the LSU administration. All it says is that finding a tiger can be difficult and the place they used to get tigers from has been shut down.
OP is an idiot and so is everyone reading his title and freaking out. Some of you should try reading th articles linked and forming your own opinions for once...

LSU needs a ZOO!
A great place for vet students to work
Problem solved
This could also work to relocate the Baton Rouge Zoo, double problem solved.

Because moving an entire zoo to a college campus with minimal room for growth is that simple right?
Posted on 6/18/16 at 9:12 pm to Ed Osteen
Doesn't have to be on main campus just near.

we dont need a live tiger anymore its embarrassing and not a tradition secondly if we have to get a tiger from less than legit sources then I agree LSU perpetuates the exotic animal trade.

Your thread title is a blatant untruth. Shame on you.

Sounds like we need a new LSU Administration
LSU has needed a new administration for some time.

Barylak said legitimate rescue organizations would not give a university a tiger for exhibition, though she added that she does believe LSU provides optimal care for its own tiger.

Rob Vernon, a spokesman for the association, said it’s “probably unlikely” that an accredited zoo would transfer an animal today to an entity without that designation. LSU can not receive the accreditation because it would be categorized as a single-animal exhibit.
So they admit the care is optimal, but they won't let us have a tiger because of a technicality. Give me a freaking break. It honestly makes me not care where the tiger comes from if they want to play that game.

F King floated this article just like the Alleva leaks during the Miles fiasco. Frick these two motha frickas. Seriously something has to give.

We don't need a single tiger to replace Mike. What we need is get a whole streak of Tigers. That should be our response.
Posted on 6/18/16 at 9:50 pm to CEORanter
Yep this article smells fishy. Like LSU is putting it out there so they can blame it on these reasons when they say they can't get a new mike.

It's not that what the article says about the acquisition of a tiger, it is the fact that this author is in the back pocket of the administration. She didn't just up and decide to write this article based in independent investigative journalism, this is the administration's way of floating an excuse. Sometimes in life politicians and public officials use the media to shape public opinion and some of you idiots are buying it hook, line and sinker. All of the 'you didn't actually read the article' or 'that's not what the article said' posters may want to follow the bread crumbs and see what is really happening with this article.

King is the worst thing to happen to LSU in the 5 decades I've been around.
Posted on 6/18/16 at 10:02 pm to Bad Medicine
Why does LSU not want another tiger?
Posted on 6/18/16 at 10:05 pm to ellessuuuu

Proceed with the bread crumb theory
