not watching game but it sounds like PM bunted a player that ripped this same pitcher on previous at bat..Thompson....with one out to move runners from 1st to 2nd with back end of the lineup coming up.
I yell at my TV for him to bunt players over to 2nd and 3rd when we only have one out, and he rarely does it, but with one out he does it.....that's crazy baseball regardless of what the next hitter does.
If true, I can only laugh at PM's ridiculous understanding of baseball strategy. He never fails to amaze me with his baseball IQ.
