good win! Could easily be 5-0.

Well, yes and no

We could have easily won the 5 games we have played. But if we would have state undefeated through this tournament we would have had to run into Houston. I don't think we would have beaten them. They pressure the ball and we don't have a point guard. So anyway you slice it, this team should be 4-1

That game at Texas is in Houston at the Toyota Center. First game of a doubleheader with Texas 7&5 vs Houston. Last I checked, ticket sales are so slow that they aren't even selling the upper level of Toyota. I'm planning to go since I live in Houston and watch both games.

I wouldn't say they know how to finish, because even this game should've finished in regulation, but they did show up in OT, especially Ward, but Ward was a large part of the reason we didn't finish in regulation. I'm glad that his reaction was to play better, rather than sulk.

We have tough games coming up against Syracuse, Kansas St. and then Texas before we start SEC play. We should be much better prepared this year for the SEC.

Kenpom has this team ranked 61st. Last year we were 151 for reference. That’s good enough for a possible nit bid. Wouldn’t feel as bad if we beat Nicholls

missouri lost to 0-5 Jackson St

LSU probably isn’t the worst sec team this year

While that is true and the same about LSU not being the worst in the sec

At this point last year I think we are 47th in Kenpom. Still pretty hesitant on us even having an overall winning record. Which would be the first hump

Now is that event in the Toyota Center a tournament format, with the winners of the first two games playing for a championship, and the losers playing a consolation game?

I surely hope so. Last year we played Wake and K-State before SEC play, and 10 cupcakes. And the team played poorly in the cupcake games. This team looks much better through its first 5 games

Missouri was a tournament team last year with Dennis Gates, and looked solid in SEC play. What has happened?
