USC just had their hearts ripped out.
Cruising to a series win after dominating the last 16 innings before...
the wheels came off.
Normally, the momentum would be ALL LSU for game 3. Just not sure we have enough pitching left to out slug them this afternoon.

That was textbook definition of fighting through being complete and total arse and finding a way to win a game we probably shouldn't have.
Absolutely disastrous start...Floyd pitches 3 innings, gives up 4 runs on 1 hit and 7 walks. Edwards comes in and pitches well for an inning, then loses it, walks in a run, and leaves with an elbow injury with bases loaded no outs. 2 errors in the field plus allowing 2 bunt "hits" by being out of position. Crews 0-fer with 2K while having 3ABs with runners on base. Jones 1-4 with 3K. Neal 0-3 3K. Kling 0-3 2K. 14 total strikeouts, many of them coming to a guy topping out at 80mph. Even our hits turn into to suckage, as Tre Morgan hits a would be double down the line that hits the umpire and the first baseman turns into an out.
But then Herring comes in and absolutely shoves for 3 innings, Cooper gets the one guy he's supposed to, and Guidry comes in to close it striking out 3 in 2 innings. Dugas comes in clutch with the game tying grand slam in the 8th. In the 9th, a should be double play turns into just an out at first by the pitcher jumping up and fielding a ball he shouldn't. Then the go ahead hit from the next batter. Crazy stuff. No way we should have won that game.

Radar not looking great for on time start for game 3.
