I mean, what do you want other than speculation? Transfers happen every year. Do you pay attention to modern college athletics? How are you going to convince Bide and Serna to stay on this roster if you bring in a big defensive catcher from the portal? You guarantee them their spots? And what, risk another year like this year? Nope. So again, why would they stick around at LSU? 1 of those leaves. They will be hit up hard in the portal with GUARANTEES. That's how the transfer portal works. It's instant gratification now. Players have no incentive anymore to sit around to take chances.
