I was 10. Carlos Carson was my all-time fav LSU player for many years. Still up there. I named one of my kids after him.

Seriously when’s the last time?
Off the top of my head New Mexico State in 2013.63-7, which oddly enough was our score of the 1996 game.

I worked that game as a kid with my chums, in concessions, ice reloading, and serving drinks in the crowd. Made about 85 in wages and tips, and found three Ben Franklins rolled together on the ground. $385 night.
LSU Punter Bobby Moreau, who in but a few years became a teacher of mine at Catholic, and also later SEC Ref, obviously had an easy night of work.

I was 13 when I listened to this game on the radio. It was incredible. It seemed every time I blinked, LSU was scoring another TD. Carlos Carson's coming out party...think it was his first game as a starter.

Listened to it on the radio. I had been recruited by Rice to play football the year before. Rice had fired their coach after my senior year, and I never heard from them again. Glad I didn't play on the Rice team against my Tigers!

Was there and will say, Carlos still is my favorite all time receiver at LSU in part because of that game. He was great.

Had been to games before but this was the first game I got to sit in the family seats. South end zone 75-95.
Followed Carson all thru his career with the chiefs after that.
Damn I am old
