I thought the Ole Miss broadcast crew was very complimentary of LSU. Gushing about them at times.

I agree with this, but Alex is hitting .340 and he’s the best defensive catcher in the world…
Trav is hitting .400 in almost all PH at bats and 1 or 2 starts.
He did excellent with Guidry’s slider in the 9th. His receiving and awareness have gotten better 10 fold.

He was limping on the field after the ball was hit to 3B and his atrocious AB…you could tell it wasn’t our usual Tommy Tanks up there, he waved at every ball thrown to him.
I don’t think that makes him unable to high five if it was a minor leg injury that JJ is holding him out for precautionary reasons. Paxton has been high fiving for a week and a half and we KNOW he has a pulled hammy.
Tre’s wrist looked a lot worse, but he kept playing. I’m pretty sure that was the wrist he hurt in Round Rock.
We’ll see if Leah has an update other than her boots, and we’ll know on Tuesday who’s ready to go.
I’ve never given up on this team because of today. They have GRIT and WANT. I know there’s a #1 curse, but move us to #2, get Javen healthy and Little give us 5 innings and that’s 3 starters finally.
Tanks injury can’t be that serious, but he was pulled for a certain reason
PS. Jobert did a fine job at 3B.

I don’t normally care for gambling like this, but if Little can continue to provide four or five decent innings, then I think it would be a good calculated risk to start him and depend on a committee in the first Regional game against the four seed.
