My favorite thing about Skenes is how he’s almost always competitive. Nearly every pitch makes the batter make a decision.

He's been throwing a bunch more 2 seam fast balls at 97 instead of the 4 seam at 101.
Also, unless a stadium radar gun goes to the 100th decimal point (like 99.82), the gun will just read 98. LSU's gun rounds up on TV.
